| Description: | Union County Christmas Bureau Toy/Poker run which benefits underprivileged children at Christmas is to be held on November 7, 2009. Ride begins at McDonalds, 1101 Roosevelt Blvd. in Monroe, N.C. where free breakfast is provided. Registration 8;30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Last bike out at 10:30 a.m. To enter: 1 new unwrapped toy. Ride ends at Shooters in Wingate, N.C. where entertainment is provided and food is available. Poker hands $10.00; $5.00 with donation of new toy. Cash prizes for the top two and worst hands. 50/50 drawing. Rain date: November 14, 2009. |
