| Description: | Kaufman, TX is proud to announce the Vietnam Memorial Wall of Texas (a 4/5 replica of the original Vietnam Memorial Wall) will soon be a permanent addition to the Kaufman County Veteran's Memorial Park. A dedication ceremony will be held Saturday, November 7th, 2009 beginning with a parade at 12:00 noon. In conjunction with this ceremony, the American Legion Riders Post 165 is hosting the 1st Annual Ride for the Wall Rally Friday Sunday, November 6th-8th, 2009 adjacent to the Veteran's Memorial.The motorcyclist will have the honor of doing a memorial ride along the Wall, leaving roses as they pass by on Saturday.There will be vendors and live entertainment Friday and Saturday night.There are accommodations for selfcontained RV sites and tent camping. This will be a wonderful event honoring all our Veteran's and everyone is encouraged to attend and spread the word to help make this a success.
